Nigerian Today - Chrisland School

The November 2016 Chrisland School – Lekki – sex scandal case is not yet over.

The court case is now being handled by an Ikeja High Court.

It was moved to the High Court from a magistrate court.

Adegboyega Adenekan, the suspended school supervisor accused of having unlawful sexual intercourse of a two-year-old pupil at Chrisland School Victoria Garden City was arraigned at the High Court Yesterday.

The 47yr old maintains his innocence in the case.

And the Judge justice Sybil Nwaka ruled against Prosecutor Titlayo Shitta- Bey to commit the accused to prison custody by retaining the bail conditions of the magistrate court.

It was established by his lawyer that the accused attends court of his own volition and open questioning in court sided with the perception he is not a flight risk.

Senior lawyer Olatunde Adejuyigbe stood for Adenekan.

The case which had parents of the victim in attendance was adjourned to February 6 for trial.
